About the Authors

Kate Brennan and Maureen Chapdelaine, Authors of Not My Mother's WeddingMaureen Chapdelaine is a mother of three and lifelong spectator of personalities and human nature. She is a freelance writer for print and online publications, covering topics from wedding planning and relationships, to exercise and grape growing. Maureen has been featured in Runner’s World and Wine Maker magazines and is a member of Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association.

Kate Chapdelaine Brennan is a newlywed and firm believer in the KISS philosophy of life: Keep it Simple Stupid. Kate spent several years in the Event Planning Industry in the Chicago and Boston areas, and has “seen it all.” By sharing her story she hopes to help future Brides maintain joy in their wedding planning. Kate is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut and presently works at Harvard Business School in Boston.
